Since the COVID-19 pandemic began in March 2020, there has been a focus to #GetReal about how you feel to encourage conversations about emotions. Across the country, people’s real conversations have shattered the COVID-19 isolation through the sharing of real experiences and feelings.

The Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) has scheduled Wednesday May 5, 2021 as the day to #GoGreen in celebration and recognition of Mental Health Week. The Catholic Education Week sub-theme for Wednesday May 5, 2021 is Cultivating Relationships. In addition, School Mental Health Ontario has created Faith and Wellness: A Daily Mental Health Resource which offers a collection of high-quality, everyday mental health practices to enhance elementary students’ social and emotional skills.
